When I think “AI Native” I think about how LLMs work. I expect to be able to interact with my AI, not just have it in the background making inaccurate suggestions that I have no way to correct. When I thought about how I wanted 🧹Clean Books to look, I knew right away that the home page for the product needed to look a lot like what we’re used to with an LLM chat screen where you can start interacting.
I think every single other accounting product out there now, who claims to be “AI Native” can only analyze financial information. Beyond that it’s a glorified chat bot that helps you access the same documentation they wrote 10 years ago that is often either outdated or just not helpful.
